These terms explain how projects with Nyxlane Studio work. Nyxlane Studio is the freelance web design and development practice of Kevin Pecho, based in Cantilan, Surigao del Sur, Philippines. By approving a quote or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms. Anything in your written quote takes priority over this page.
1. Quotes
Every project starts with a conversation and a written quote. The quote lists what will be built, the price, the timeline and the number of revision rounds. Prices on this website are starting prices; your quote is the final price for the work it describes. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
2. Payments
A 50% deposit starts the project once you approve the quote. The remaining 50% is due before the website goes live. Payments can be made by GCash, including through the deposit page. Work is scheduled once the deposit is received and confirmed. Clients outside the Philippines are quoted in US dollars and pay by PayPal or Wise, as stated in their quote.
3. Timeline
The timeline in your quote assumes that content (text, photos, logos, prices and menus) and feedback arrive on time. If they are delayed, the timeline moves by the same amount. I will always tell you as early as possible if anything on my side affects the schedule.
4. Revisions and changes
Your quote includes a set number of revision rounds during design and build. Requests outside the agreed scope, such as new pages or features, are welcome and will be quoted separately before any extra work starts.
5. Your content
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, the content you provide for your website, and that it is accurate. I may use licensed stock photos where agreed; these are always free for commercial use.
6. Ownership
After the final payment, the website, its content and its domain belong to you. Until then, the work remains the property of Nyxlane Studio. I may show the finished project in my portfolio, unless you ask me not to.
7. Hosting and domains
Websites are hosted on a fast, reliable host at no monthly cost to you. If you want your own address, you buy the domain in your name (usually about ₱600 to ₱700 a year) and I connect it for you. Domain renewals are your responsibility, and I am happy to remind you.
8. After launch
I stay available for questions and small fixes after launch. Ongoing updates and support are available through the optional care plan, from ₱500 per month, which you can start or stop at any time with 30 days' notice.
9. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a project at any time by letting me know in writing. If you cancel before any work has started, your deposit is refunded in full. Once work has started, the deposit covers the work completed and is not refundable. If I am unable to finish a project, you will receive a refund for any work not delivered.
10. Liability
I build every website with care and test it before launch. I am not responsible for losses caused by third-party services (such as payment providers, hosting or email services), or by changes made to the website by others after handover.
